GHOSTBUSTERS 30TH ANNIVERSARY SHOW - Gallery 1988

Gallery1988 asked me to be a part of it’s most ambitious, and secretive, project ever. Teaming up with Sony Pictures they created a travelling exhibition paying tribute to one of the greatest movies of all-time, turning 30 this year: Ghostbusters. The exhibition will be travelling this summer from New York to Los Angeles and Chicago all before ending at Comic Con 2014 in San Diego. I was so delighted to be a part of something on this scale and was a little sad that I would be watching it all happen from over seas in Ireland.

Titled: 'Reverse the Polarity' I wanted to play with the ideas of the proton beams and how you are never supposed to cross the streams with that in mind I chose to depict the catchphrase as if made up of proton beams from the ghostbusters themselves creating the shape of the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, if you squint you will see what I mean.
